A Viennese Afternoon Concert

Inspired by the concerts held in Vienna all year round, we invite you to attend an exclusive concert celebrating classical music, performed by the 20-piece string section of the Selangor Symphony Orchestra with guest conductor, Andrew Filmer and our very own music director, Eugene Pook. The orchestra will enchant you with a selection of waltzes and polkas, highlighting the stunning music from The Waltz King, Johann Strauss Jr.

 

We are also delighted to feature renowned oboist, Joost Flach, who will perform the beautiful and gentle Oboe Concerto in D minor, Op.9 No.2 by Tomaso Albinoni.

A Symphony of Reflections

“A Symphony of Reflections” on August 10th (Friday) 8:30pm, The Gardens Theatre, Mid Valley City, Kuala Lumpur. Join us for a night of multi-sensory philanthropic masterpiece culminating in art and music. An evening of chamber music featuring the most beloved instrumental and vocal masterworks performed by the players of the Selangor Symphony Orchestra. Organised and presented by Entrepreneur Insight and Property Insight, a fundraising concert in aid of SUKA Society or Persatuan Kebajikan Suara Kanak-kanak Malaysia (SUKA), a registered NGO set up to protect and to preserve the best interests of children.
